This is a fossilized shark tooth from an Otodus sokolovi from the Dakhla region of Morocco.
Otodus sokolovi is an interesting transitional species that fits in between O. auriculatus and O. angustidens. This lineage of Otodus is currently believed to have eventually evolved into the famous Otodus megalodon.
