Shipping policy

We only ship and accept fossil orders within the United States by default. This is due to differences in shipping cost, potential export laws, and issues with customs.

Depending on the request and arrangement, we can make exceptions sending orders outside of the United States. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to research or prepare any requirements or restrictions on import. Please send an email at sales@mesozoicmarket.com if you wish to discuss and arrange a special order outside of the United States.

Most non-fossil orders can be shipped to almost anywhere in the world. However, geographical situations and other factors may limit countries or locations we can ship to. "Print on demand" items shipped from 3rd party companies may have different shipping times, delivery/shipping locations, delays, return/refund policies, and prices. Please check product descriptions to know if a product is "Print on demand".

Free shipping

Free shipping on all fossil orders of $100 USD and above within the United States. If you have non-fossil items in your cart, shipping may still apply to those particular items even if fossils orders reach $100 USD and above.

Some items (ie, keychains, stickers) can still be eligible for combined shipment with fossils. Please read each product page to know which products are eligible for combined shipment with fossils.

"Print on demand" products cannot be combined with items we physically have stocked in our storage. Please check product descriptions to know if a product is "Print on demand" and where the item can and cannot be shipped to.

Priority shipping

Priority shipping is optional and will cost more than standard shipping. Free shipping does not apply to priority shipping.

Reserving fossils / Combined shipment

We can reserve fossil specimens for up to 2 weeks. If you request to combine orders with orders already placed, please contact us before the package has been shipped out. Once a package has been shipped, any additional orders will be treated as a new order.

Shipping details

Standard shipping within the United States will cost a flat rate of $5 USD unless eligible for free shipping; priority shipping within the United States will cost a flat rate $10 USD regardless of the total cost of the order.

Packages will usually be shipped with USPS in 3-5 business days after the first order unless requested for immediate shipping in the nearest business day (Mon-Fri). We will sometimes ship the order the same day regardless, or within a day or two depending on when the order was placed. Shipping times may be affected by holidays.

All of our fossils are well packed in order to mitigate any possible mishaps during transit. Please contact us immediately at sales@mesozoicmarket.com within 24 hours of delivery if any damage had occurred during transit, or if you have received the wrong order. Shipping and sales may be delayed or unavailable during the months of December to January.
