Species: cf. Jobaria tiguidensis Age: Middle Jurassic (Bathonian-Oxfordian) Formation: Irhazer Group Provenance: Nafanfo, Agadez, Niger Size: ±20.8mm (0.8") Condition: No repair or restorations; stabilized with Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) in acetone |
This is a listing for 1 small Jobaria sauropod dinosaur tooth. While most small pieces of sauropod teeth from the Irhazer are partials of a larger tooth, this is mostly complete and possibly from a young individual. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand the locale, "Nafanfo" making it difficult to ascertain which formation the specimen comes from. It is possible the name was long-lost in translation.
